pleasant surprise: this is not the case, many switch games that don't have a switch 2 edition/patch see fps and load time improvements:

the (relative) lack of arbitrary restrictions makes me much more inclined to get a switch 2 at some point. it still won't be right away though and i still don't want to give nintendo money for other reasons :p
