debian trixie upgrade

i just updated the server running flitpix.net to debian trixie (from bookworm).
the documentation for the upgrade process was quite good for the most part. i was slightly confused by the new deb822 format for apt source files, but that was the only real roadblock.
there's a very specific reason i did this. most people who would read this should already know, but if you don't, look forward to another blog post, either later today or tomorrow...
