i'm making a new PMD forum RP, as a successor to PMD: Tales of Celestia which i shut down on April 30. this subforum will be used by me to share progress on the project.
Welcome to the world of Pokémon!
It's been many, many years since Pokémon have come to terms with Dark Matter's existence in their hearts, its influence having long since been forgotten.
As such, organization has enhanced at a rate that's never been seen before. The various guilds scattered about each continent have come together to form the Guild Association, which, over the past decade, has cemented its place in the Pokémon world as its primary governing body.
Since the Guild Association's formation, the Pokémon world entered a new age of peace and prosperity the likes of which have never been seen before!
And now, you're about to join the Guild Association yourself, by registering at your continent's branch. You'll make new friends and go on many adventures in mystery dungeons both new and familiar, helping other Pokémon along the way. Perhaps you might even learn something about yourself, too?
a brief, non-comprehensive list of things that are unequivocally true and won't change:
there will be a discord server, but it will only be used for voice chats, game nights, and more visibility via server list bumping. it'll also have a new topic feed for those who want notifications that way. all other activity, including all non-voice discussion, will happen on the forum board. it may also be superseded by another solution in the future.
it'll use phpBB just like all the other forum sites i've hosted thus far, including PMD: Tales of Celestia, the Archipelago test forum, and the one you're reading right now.
it'll ultimately take place across the entirety of the PMD Pokemon world.
the world lore will resemble, but still be significantly different from, the canon PMD games.
