Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to my forum board! It's a quaint little place, so the rules somewhat reflect that.

1. Don't insult, demean, harass, or discriminate against others.
2. Don't bring drama about other people or communities here. This is a public space, please treat it as such.
3. Post topics in the correct subforum. This is particularly strict for political discussion. (If you mess up once or twice, it's fine, but don't do it constantly.)
4. If a topic has been inactive for at least a week, don't reply to it, make a new topic instead.
5. Piracy is forbidden, as is encouragement or admittance of it. Do not post ROMs, Warez, or anything you would normally need to pay for here. Do not directly post ROM hack patchfiles here, link to their official project page instead. Emulation and fangames are fine.
6. NSFW content is strictly forbidden; this forum board is intended for people who are 16+ years old.
7. Your signature may not exceed 400px in total height, and shouldn't have anything distracting.
8. Before posting in a subforum, read any stickied topics that might exist there, as they likely contain important info or additional guidelines.
9. Any attempts to circumvent the rules, counts as breaking them.
10. If you are causing problems for others, even if it isn't listed in the rules, you are breaking the rules.

There is no set criteria for how you're punished for breaking the rules. You might receive a warning, you might be restricted from posting, or in particularly bad cases you may simply be permabanned. The only set-in-stone rules are that three accumulated warnings will result in a permaban, and warnings fall off after a year.

If someone is breaking a rule, report the message by clicking the exclamation-mark (!) button on the post. I'll receive the report and look into it. While I will see your username, your report will remain anonymous.
